This course is a collaboration between Karu Survival (FIN) and Bushpappa (NL) you can do bookings also thru Bushpappa web-shop

During this course, you will expand your bushcraft skills and learn more about staying outdoors in a genuine wilderness environment. You will also learn traditional bushcraft skills, and how to use them every day. The surrounding wild nature and observing it are integral parts of the course.

Who is this course for?

Karu Bushcraft Advanced is for outdoor enthusiasts who already possess basic bushcraft skills. If you have completed a course similar to Karu Bushcraft Basics, you can take part in this course.

Program

DAY 1. Prepare: Security and safety, gear check up, camp set up

DAY 2. Shelter: Man made and primitive shelters

DAY 3. Axe and fire: Lighting fire methods and axe handling

DAY 4. Crafts: Camp crafts

DAY 5. Hunter: Fishing and trapping techniques

DAY 6. Gatherer: Food from nature

DAY 7. First Aid: Outdoor first aid

DAY 8. Home journey: Transportation to airport and train station

The course includes:

  • All food enjoyed during the course

  • All equipment and material required during training

Please note:

Participants must have valid insurance, as well as a backpack, basic outdoor equipment, a sleeping bag, sleeping pad, tent or similar and clothing suitable for the season. Participants must be in a normal state of health.
